Celebrating John Neuhart
Graphic designer John Neuhart transitioned from this Earthly realm yesterday. Although we knew his departure was approaching it is still a shock and a pull on the heart strings. I met John soon after I met Roxana ten years ago because he was the father of Roxana’s ex, Ben Neuhart. We ended up becoming one big extended family.
John’s love of letterpress, typography and fastidious attention to detail in any project he created, even if it was a simple box was inspirational. Roxana wrote a beautiful memorial to this special man whose Eames office scale model which took ten years to make, now resides in the Vitra Museum in Switzerland.
